Rain acknowledges the essential role of wildfire in healthy ecosystems. However: our ecosystem is not presently healthy. The obvious, necessary solution to climate change is reducing human carbon emissions. Until that happens, wildfire is both a symptom and a cause of climate change: every year, wildfires release 8 billion tons of carbon globally. We need tools to adapt to a changing climate, and the Rain System is one in a suite of tools that includes controlled burns, innovative policies, and ongoing forest management. We believe uncontrolled wildfires destroying communities, livelihoods and lives are unnecessary to meet our climate objectives.
Every wildfire starts small. Rain contains wildfires within 10 minutes of ignition using a network of autonomous drones permanently installed throughout high risk regions. We are fire sprinklers for the forest.

As a senior technical recruiter, you will protect our climate and communities by building a team of engineers, technicians, and operators. Applying skills in sourcing, qualifying leads, all the way through on-sites and onboarding, you’ll shape the recruiting process to help us rapidly grow our team and first responder culture in service to others.

In close partnership with our Leadership Team, the Senior Technical Recruiter will become a subject matter expert in all of Rain’s hiring channels and partner across the organization to run a full cycle recruiting operation. This includes strategizing about employment branding efforts, driving interview process improvements and helping us build a stellar candidate experience so that you and our team can attract the highest potential candidates.
The goal of the Senior Technical Recruiter role is to bring great people together to solve the wildfire problem by owning the full cycle recruiting process.
